If you’re looking for the perfect gifts, even for that hard to buy for person on your list, we have you covered. The Ozark Holidays Craft Show is Dec. 9-10, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Ozark Folk Center State Park. This is an opportunity to buy heirloom quality gifts from the person who made them right here in Arkansas. If you’ve been to Ozark Folk Center, you know what a special place it is. Visiting with the artisans gives you a meaningful experience you can share with the lucky person receiving their unique creation. Each item is handmade, and depending on the craft, each piece can take from an hour to a year to carve, weave, forge or fire.
About 30 artisans will be set up on the upper level of the Craft Village, the administration building, and gift shop. Admission is free. You can call 870-269-3851 for more information. Note: Since this is a craft show, the artisans will not be demonstrating their crafts as they normally do in the Craft Village during the regular season.
