Things To Do at DeGray Lake

DeGray Lake Resort State Park interpreters offer a variety of programs and activities throughout the year for the entertainment and education of park visitors. In addition, special programs may be offered during holiday weekends and special events such as the annual Eagles Et Cetera weekend held each January. For details on programs and special events, see the schedule below.

Regular programs by park interpreters include guided lake cruises, kayak tours, snorkeling excursions, trail hikes, wildlife demonstrations, nature games, arts & crafts workshops, nocturnal wildlife safaris, owl prowls, and more. A variety of indoor and outdoor venues are used throughout the park including the sand volleyball court on the lodge island or the basketball and tennis courts located near the marina. The amphitheater, visitor center, grand lobby of the lodge, marina and golf course all serve as popular locations for interpretive programs. Most events are free of charge to park guests and the public. A few select programs have a nominal fee.

DeGray Lake Resort State Park has several Geocaches within the park boundaries for those who participate in, or are interested in learning about, this global high-tech treasure hunt.

Programs, dates and times are subject to change.
