Where better to learn about the world of geology than at Crater of Diamonds State Park? This one-day workshop is geared towards scouts who are seeking to gain their Geology Merit Badge following the Scouting America guidelines. Participants will receive a Crater of Diamonds State Park patch

Why do skunks smell bad to some people? What is the reason they spray? Learn the answers to these questions and more by joining a park interpreter as we discuss one smelly animal, the striped skunk.

Is life too hectic and you just need to slow down and relax? Then join a park interpreter who will lead you on an easy, 1/2-mile hike through the forest. We’ll use several mindfulness techniques from the Quiet Hour program to slow our minds and be present in the moment. Meet at the Van Winkle

Stop by the nature cabin to discover the wonders that make Lake Catherine State Park so special. Park interpreters will be available to give brief programs, help start your explorer program, or answer any questions you may have about this special place.
