What to know
This is a 2-mile “rails-to-trail” section. Lexa Trailhead is the northern terminus of Delta Heritage Trail State Park. It features a few parking spots, trash containers, and interpretive panels where you can begin your discovery of the cultural and natural resources along the trail.
Barton Trailhead is located at the park’s headquarters, with a visitor center, gift shop, and park offices nearby. There are also 5 primitive, non-reservable walk-in campsites available at Barton. Check in and pay during business hours at the park visitor center. There is ample parking at the Barton Trailhead, along with a bike repair station, an interpretive kiosk, a water fountain, and trash cans.
