Join a park interpreter on the Slunger Creek Nature Trail to explore the sights and sounds Lake Catherine State Park has to offer. This stroll takes about 30 minutes and is about 3/4-mile long. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

Cleaning Up the Falls

Join a park interpreter on a guided hike on the Falls Branch Trail. On the hike, we will work together and practice good stewardship of the park by picking up litter seen on the trail.

Memories are made here at Lake Catherine State Park! Join a park interpreter at the swim beach to discuss the natural beauty of Lake Catherine during this lakeside painting activity.

Morning Kayak Tour

Join a park interpreter at the marina to explore Lake Catherine and all it has to offer during this peaceful paddle across the water. Participants must be at least 13 years or older to paddle solo. Participants must also be comfortable around water. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are provided

Do you like to read? This is the program for you! Meet a park interpreter at the nature cabin to make a bookmark out of items found in nature.

Cane Pole Fishing

Cane poles are an efficient and affordable tool for both beginner and expert fishermen. Join a park interpreter at the marina to tackle some fishing the old-fashioned way! Poles and bait will be provided.

Fall Colors Hike

1-mile moderately strenuous hike will bring participants along Bull Shoals Lake.
