Ever wanted to try your hand at kayaking, but didn’t want to run out and buy a boat? Here is your chance to test a boat. Join a park interpreter at the kayak beach and you will get a chance to paddle around in the cove and see if kayaking is the sport for you.

Gold Creek Hike

<p>Join a park interpreter at the Gold Creek trailhead for a 0.18-mile
hike. This is a moderate hike and is expected to last about 45 minutes. Make
sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water!</p>

Woolly Cabin Tour

Love history? Join a park interpreter to&nbsp;learn more about our local history while touring the 143-year-old Woolly Cabin!&nbsp;The inside of the cabin can only be viewed during tours, so don’t miss this&nbsp;opportunity! This program is expected to last about 30 minutes.

Huckleberry Nature Hike

Join a park interpreter for a 3.5-mile guided hike around Lake&nbsp;Bennett to become more acquainted with the native flora and fauna seen in the park. This is a moderate hike and is expected to last about two hours. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring water!

Wash Day

<p>Time to wash those clothes! Scrub real clothing on a wash&nbsp;board and rinse in a wash tub. Wear&nbsp;sunscreen and play clothes. <b>#ARSpringBreak</b> </p>

Picnic at the Park

<p>Nothing feels better than a day outside in the sun. The museum will set up old-fashioned family friendly games such as checkers, croquet, sack raises, sidewalk art, and more! Join the museum staff for a sunny, fun-filled day. Pack a picnic basket for the family and be sure to include plenty of water</p>

Planting Day

<p>Sow seeds into the Arkansas Delta soil as we prepare for the
growing season. Participants will be able to plant and cultivate the kitchen
garden and planters. Children will be able to start their own little garden to
take home as well. Learn what past settlers planted in their gardens and why. <b>#ARSp</b></p>

Let's Play Outside

Playing outside is fun! Join the museum for a day of old-fashioned games such as jump rope, checkers, croquet, horse shoes and more! Wear sun protection and bring water and play all day. <b>#ARSpringBreak</b>

Delta Heritage Trail Guided Bike Ride Snow Lake Trailhead

Here
is your chance to explore a remote part of Delta Heritage Trail State Park on a
guided bike ride with a park interpreter from the Snow Lake trailhead. We will
discover the rich history of the Laconia Circle Levee and settlement dating to
the 1800s and the rich natural landscape of this section
