Women in the Woods: Stargazing Basics

Do you ever go stargazing? Do you know constellations? Join a park interpreter at Lake Poinsett State Park for an introduction into stargazing, sky mapping, and stories of the night sky. No prior knowledge required! This program is part of the Women in the Woods initiative at Lake Poinsett State Park. Every month we have one event on the third Sunday to welcome women to learn outdoor skills and challenge them to get out of their comfort zone. Come learn new skills at Lake Poinsett State Park!
