Winter Workshop Series: Navigation 101

Join a park interpreter to learn how to navigate using a map and compass to enhance your experiences while outdoors at Petit Jean State Park. This is a 3-hour course that will include about 1.5 hours of instruction at Pavilion A and then about 1.5 hours of hands-on practice split between the CCC ball field and Red Bluff Drive areas. Transportation is not provided, so please come ready to travel between locations. This is a great course for folks 14 years of age and up who have an interest in learning practical outdoor skills. This program is free, but sign up is required by the Wednesday before the event by calling the visitor center at 501-727-5441 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
