Wellness Wednesday at Delta Heritage Trail Arkansas City

Delta Heritage Trail is an ideal place for joining others to experience the outdoors and getting some exercise. Meet at the Arkansas City Trailhead Office and join a park interpreter for a hike at a leisurely pace on an easy paved surface trail for 45 minutes covering 1.5-miles. Along the way pass the historic commercial district of Arkansas City and watch for birds and other wildlife that thrive in the natural areas along the trail. Bring a friend and a water bottle, dress to be outdoors, and have footwear you are comfortable hiking in and be ready for an outdoor fitness adventure.
