Ten Essential Skills in Outdoor Preparedness Workshop

Delta Heritage Trail offers miles to explore and here is your chance to prepare for your journey across the Arkansas Delta. Meet at the visitor center with a park interpreter and discover how to prepare for a hike and skills to utilize for your journey. Afterward we will test our newly acquired skills on a one-mile guided hike and an easy gravel surface trail. This event is ideal for families and organized youth groups.

Registration is required by calling the park (870) 572-2352 by February 19th.

Dress to be outdoors and have footwear you are comfortable hiking in. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and drinking water.
