Spring Next Generation Concert Presented by the Committee of One Hundred
Meeting Place: Ozark Highlands Theater
Make the beautiful drive to the Ozark Folk Center for the Spring Next Generation Concert during Folk Festival in Mountain View, Arkansas on Saturday, April 19, 2025. You're sure to enjoy performances by Mountain View's young rising stars at the park's award-winning 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater.
Performers include:
- Sylamore Special (2024 SPGMA International Bluegrass Band Champions, 2024 Bluegrass Group of the Year and 2024 Inspirational/Gospel Group of the Year at the Arkansas Country Music Awards)
- Ozark Strangers (featuring state fiddle champion Truett Brannon)
- 5 South (featuring state fiddle and banjo champion Kailee Spickes)
- The Parker Unit (13x state fiddle champion Mary Parker and two-time National Mandolin Champion Runner-Up Gordan Parker)
- The Music Roots Ensemble (Top students from the Music Roots program in the Mountain View area on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and upright bass)
