Pedal Paddle Tour

Here is your chance to immerse yourself into the natural landscape and discover the rich heritage of the Delta region on a guided bike and kayak tour led by a park interpreter. We will meet at the visitor center and then caravan in your vehicle to Old Town Lake. Then our journey will begin as an 8-mile bike ride lasting about 2 hours from the lake on the former rail line that is Delta Heritage Trail today. Upon returning to Old Town Lake, we will explore how people have viewed the lake differently over time and the secrets of the natural world of this well-known landmark on a guided kayak tour lasting about 1.5 hours. All equipment is included in the registration fee and no kayaking experience is necessary, but you must be comfortable in a watercraft and around water.
