Ozark Quilt Retreat Grandmother’s Garden Throw

*** Click Here for more information or to register. ***In class you will cut your fabric of choice to make 63 single petal flowers and a single path row with your throw 7 flowers across and 9 down. You will need about 2 yards of fabric for the path (solid color). Example - If you are using 1 inch hexagon you can get about 42 hexes from a fat quarter of fabric. If you want more of scrappy flowers, then bring a bag of scraps. You will also need 63 hexes for the center of your flowers. As this is all hand work you will not complete your throw by the end of this class. We will discuss different way to finish your throw.
Here's what you'll need to learn how to English paper piece:
• Fabric (light-weight cotton works best)
• Needle and Thread
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Marking Pen or Rotary Cutter
• Iron
• Glue Stick or Sewing Pins
• English Paper Piecing Templates
• Fabric (for the center, petals and the path)
The size of your hexagon can be a half inch,1 inch all the way up to a 4 inch. You can purchase your hexagon templates online.
Preregistration required two weeks before class begins.
If you need to cancel your registration up to one month before the start of
class, full refunds will be given upon request by phone to 870-269-3854 or

month and two weeks before the beginning of class will receive a 50% refund. No
refunds within two weeks of class date.
