Old Town Lake Kayak Adventure

Old Town Lake is a well-known landmark on the Delta Heritage Trail. Here is your chance to join a park interpreter on an easy flat-water guided kayak tour of the lake that long ago was the course of the Mississippi River. Paddle through a maze of bald cypress trees as we discover the secrets of the natural world the lake provides and get a sense of the ways different people through time have viewed the lake. No kayak experience is necessary, but you must be comfortable being on the water in a boat. Kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices are included with the registration fee. Registration is required by calling the park at (870) 572-2352. Space is limited and early registration is recommended.
