Letterpress Printing - Then & Now

This one day class will include basic terminology and hand setting type and plate preparation for printing and finishing of a personalized note sheet and notecard. Participants have the option to bring their own paper or cards and produce a customized print of their choice. This option requires communication with the instructor before class day. Utilizations of modern plate-making techniques and their application will be discussed.

Materials and supplies included in class fee. All equipment and tools will be provided for use in class. You may bring your own apron and gloves for cleaning. Extended standing and assembling of small pieces required.

If you need to cancel your registration before the start of class, full refunds will be given upon request. Students requesting a refund between a month and two weeks before the beginning of class will receive a 50% refund. No refunds within two weeks of class date.
