Kayaking Under the Perseid Meteor Shower

Join the park interpreters behind the visitor center for a special night kayaking experience on Lake Bailey. This paddle will include star gazing and viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower. This spectacular meteor shower happens each year and offers a glimpse into outer space. The paddle will last about one and a half hours. Red lights will be provided, but feel free to bring along one of your own as well. Sign up by 5 p.m. at the visitor center to reserve your spot. Spots are limited, and reservations are first-come, first-served.
