Intro to Bladesmithing Workshop

Students in this 5-day Ozark Folk School Class will learn how to shape steel; draw up a knife design; work the hammer and anvil at the forge; judge temperatures of steel; attach their knife handle; make a sheath; and sharpen their knife. Each student will go home with a knife of their own making to keep and treasure. Registration is required two weeks prior to the beginning of class.
