Discover the stories that have shaped Petit Jean State Park into the place we love today. Join a park interpreter for a relaxed history talk exploring the people, places, and pivotal moments that built Arkansas’ first state park. From early settlers and the CCC to the legends that lend the mountain its name, this program highlights the heart and heritage of Petit Jean. It’s a chance to connect more deeply to the landscape and to the generations who cherished it before us. This program will be in the visitor center exhibit area and will last about 30 minutes.
