Guided Hike: The Eternal Flame

Nearly 200 years ago, 660 Cherokee walked the Military Road that runs through Village Creek State Park. Join a park interpreter at the Lake Austell boat ramp parking lot as we hike Military Road Trail to learn about their journey and the fire, they kept alive along their way. This is a 1.5-mile moderate hike, and the program lasts about 1 hour. Please bring plenty of water, wear hiking shoes and insect repellent.
