Gardening is an Art

In this class you will learn about botanical and landscape basics; what plants are really weeds; composting processes and mulching materials. You will learn how to play while engaged in laborious tasks and how to research what you do not yet know. Be ready to describe your gardening practices and desires. Class fee includes notes, handouts, and a complete focus on your garden. Registration required. Participants will need to bring a lunch. Class size minimum is one student, and maximum is three students. Call the park at 870-269-3854 for more information. The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located one mile north of downtown Mountain View, Arkansas and five miles from the scenic White River. Camping, sightseeing, hiking, floating and swimming are popular activities in the National Forest, as well at the Buffalo National River, which is about an hour west of Mountain View.
