First Day Hike at Lake Charles

Start your new year off right by joining a park interpreter for a guided hike of the Mockernut Trail. This meandering 1-mile hike offers beautiful views of everything that Lake Charles State Park has to offer! We will discuss the history of Lake Charles and its importance to the state of Arkansas along the way, as well as the hidden natural wonders that make the park unique. Please remember to dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. This hike is moderate in difficulty.
