First Day Climb

Climb into the New Year with the park interpreters and Frontier Climbing Company! This beginner climbing program is a great opportunity to try out climbing for the first time or even just watch and see what it’s all about. All safety equipment and climbing gear will be provided free of charge and a certified climbing instructor will be there to help show you the ropes! Make sure you wear hiking shoes and comfortable clothes that you can move around freely in. We will meet at the Seven Hollows trailhead and hike about half a mile to the West Hollow climbing area. We will be available from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for this come and go program. This event is presented in partnership with Frontier Climbing Company and Arkansas State Parks.
