Discover the Yancopin Bridge Guided Hike

Here is your chance to discover the Yancopin Bridge! This bridge crosses the Arkansas River along the Delta Heritage Trail. Experience it for yourself on an easy 3-mile round trip guided hike led by a park interpreter. We will meet at the Watson trailhead and then caravan in your own vehicles to a spot near the bridge. From there, we will hike on a gravel surface trail to the bridge and enjoy magnificent river views that frequently feature bald eagles in winter. Registration is required by calling the park no later than the day before program at (870) 572-2352. Dress to be outdoors and wear footwear for hiking. Note that it is typically colder on the bridge with the wind. Bring drinking water, binoculars, and sunscreen.
