Delta Heritage Trail Guided Hike Lake View Trailhead

Meet at the Lake View trailhead, in the community of Lake View, for a guided hike led by a park interpreter as we discover the natural world and rich cultural history of the Lake View community with its roots reaching to the Great Depression era and African American resettlement area developed in the 1930s. We will hike at an easy pace about 45 minutes and cover 1-mile on a gravel surface trail. Wear footwear you are comfortable hiking in and dress to be outdoors. Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and drinking water. Please call park for specific directions to trailhead.
