Join a park interpreter at Stout’s Point for a peaceful evening under the stars at one of the park’s most scenic overlooks. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the Perseid Meteor Shower—exploring the science behind this spectacular annual event—and uncover how the full moon rises in our sky each month. We invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night sky as the moonlight shines and meteors streak overhead. Bring along a lawn chair or a blanket for comfortable viewing. This program will be available for one hour.
