Bike Skills 101 Workshop and Ride

All the gears and equipment on a bike can be overwhelming at first glance. Here is your chance to learn how they work step by step and how you need to prepare for your biking journey on Delta Heritage Trail. This is the ideal event for someone just starting out biking and will get you set for exploring the outdoors. We will meet at the Watson Trailhead and then caravan in your own vehicle a short distance to Yancopin. After we master setting up bikes, you can try out your newly acquired skills at a leisurely paced easy 3-mile bike ride on a gravel surface trail with a park interpreter to the refurbished Yancopin Bridge crossing the Arkansas River.

Registration is required by calling the park (870) 572-2352 by March 20th. Dress to be outdoors and bring sunscreen, insect repellent and drinking water.
