Discovery on the Lake Trail

Join a park interpreter for a hike as you explore some of the natural things found in Devil’s Den State Park. The Lake Trail is an easy 0.5-mile (out to the CCC Dam and back) trail. Dress for the weather. <br>

Does a bear poop in the woods? It sure does, along with every other&nbsp;animal! Join a park interpreter for a hilarious game of poop bingo to learn&nbsp;about some of the park’s animal residents and their poop.

Community Resource and Involvement Fair

<p>Want to find out more about what the Prairie Grove
area has to offer or want to get involved in helping the community? Come check
out local non-profit organizations and find out more information. This drop-in
fair will be open until 2 p.m. on the park grounds.</p>

Camo Crawl

<p>To avoid enemy detection, soldiers tried to blend
in with their surroundings. While searching for hidden objects along the
trail, we will explore the effectiveness of camouflage during a 30-minute

Clothesline Fair

The annual Clothesline Fair will take place over Labor Day weekend and features vendors selling and demonstrating handmade crafts, and local children competing in a square dancing competition. Non-profit organizations operate food and drink concessions.
