Great Arkansas Cleanup

Withrow Springs State Park will be having a Cleanup Day on April 26th. Feel free to stop by the visitor center anytime on Saturday to pick up supplies if you would like to help. For more information, contact the park at (479) 559-2593 any day of the week during business hours.

Wildflower Walk

Let’s see what flowers are blooming in the park! Join a park interpreter for a relaxing 0.50-mile (out-and-back) walk along the lower section of the Devil’s Den Trail. This is a moderate trail. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring water and insect repellant.

Live Raptor Program

<p>Join Lynn Sciumbato from Morning
Star Wildlife Rehabilitation and get an up-close view of some magnificent
birds of prey, or raptors. Donations to Morning Star Wildlife
Rehabilitation are accepted.</p>

Discover Migratory Birds

<p>The peak of bird
migration for our area is right around the corner! Join Mitchell Pruitt from
the Ozark Bird Conservancy for a program in the Discovery Room to explore this
incredible phenomenon and the migratory birds that visit our area. Donations to
Ozark Bird Conservancy are accepted.</p>

Meet at the pavilion near the visitor center to
explore this easy, 0.5-mile trail looking for birds. This beginner-friendly
walk is led by Taylor Long, field trip leader for the NWA Audubon Chapter. Bring
your binoculars or borrow a pair from us.

Hobbs Earth Day Event: Bird Fest!

Join us for a fun and educational event that’s
“for the birds” and help bird conservation organizations as well! Besides the timed
presentations, there are also tabletop booths with kids' activities from 9 a.m. –
2 p.m.; come and go as you please. Bring your own lunch or enjoy a hot
dog or hamburger
