What to know
This 12-acre wooded site features plants native to Arkansas’ West Gulf Coastal Plain and exotic species including flowering camellias and azaleas. Managed by the South Arkansas Community College, the arboretum offers marked, paved walking trails, a rental pavilion, a rental gazebo, restrooms, and parking. It’s a peaceful place to get out and stretch your legs on a long drive or motorcycle ride or road trip. To get here from Ark. 82B in El Dorado, turn north on North Timberlane Drive and go 1 mile.
