Mount Magazine Accommodations

Pavilion

The park's modern rustic-style, stone and wood beam picnic pavilion is excellent for family reunions, wedding receptions, or company picnics. The open sides allow you to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere while still being protected in times of inclement weather. The inside of the pavilion measures 50" x 25" (Total = 1,250 sq. ft.) and has 10 moveable picnic tables. A large barbecue grill/fireplace is on the northwest side of the pavilion. For comfort and convenience, electrical outlets, ceiling fans, lights, water, and restrooms are located in, or adjacent to, the pavilion. The park visitor center is located directly across the road.

Gazebo

On the edge of Cameron Bluff looking west over the Arkansas River Valley is a 225-square-foot gazebo built around 1938 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). Popular for small weddings and romantic dinners, the gazebo is also an excellent setting for enjoying the colorful sunsets as seen from the top of Mount Magazine. Visitors are welcome to use the gazebo free-of-charge. However, reserving it assures that it will be available for your special occasion.
