DeGray Lake Resort State Park is excited to revive a unique offering this summer that will allow guests to soak up the “DeGray experience” like never before: The Ultimate Island Adventure! Visitors are sure to enjoy this island excursion complete with fun, food, fantastic views, and of course, DeGray’s squad of energetic and knowledgeable park interpreters on site to make it a truly memorable experience. Crafted in similar fashion to land-based excursions offered on ocean liner cruises, this island adventure is aimed at providing park visitors with a stress-free, fully planned, all-inclusive excursion for a full day of fun in the sun at DeGray.

After being transported by boat to beautiful Adventure Island in the middle of DeGray Lake, guests will have access to a wide array of recreational supplies for the afternoon, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, snorkeling equipment, and beach games, as well as guided instruction made available by park interpreters. A complimentary snack bar with finger food favorites and cold drinks will be available all afternoon to curb appetites. Come dinner time, a full-course, island-themed buffet will be awaiting guests back on lodge island. Following dinner, guests will re-board the boat to enjoy a scenic, sunset cruise of the lake – an absolute must-have experience at DeGray. As the colors of the setting sun begin to fade, guests will be escorted back to Adventure Island for the nighttime DeGray experience which will revolve around an island campfire, making s’mores and enjoying breathtaking views of the night sky. The celestial bodies will happen to align for this special evening with the peak of the annual Perseid meteor shower, known as the best meteor shower of the year, and the rising of a waning full moon. This will be one for the memory books! Everything is included in the package price of just $84.99/adults; $54.99/children ages 6-12; $34.99/children ages 3-5; Under 3 free. Space is limited.
