Wings over the Water Lake Tour

Join a park interpreter for a relaxing birding tour on the calm waters of Lake Chicot, as we cruise along the shoreline to spot winter waterfowl, wading birds, and resident species, learning tips for identifying birds by sight and sound along the way. Whether you’re new to birding or a seasoned observer, this guided lake tour offers an easy, scenic way to enjoy wildlife, hear fascinating stories about the lake’s natural history, and experience the beauty of the Delta. Bring binoculars if you have them; extras are available. Register and pay by calling or visiting the visitor center by 5 p.m. on the day of the tour. Weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and water recommended. This program will be canceled in the event of bad weather.
