Weather and Wear Workshop Series - Cooking and Personal Gear

Every outdoor experience at Lake Catherine State Park begins with having the appropriate gear. But how do you take care of it once it’s used? Join Park Interpreter Carrie at the Nature Cabin to learn what gear you need and how to properly take care of it. This week’s workshop will focus on personal and cooking gear and how to clean and properly take care of your gear. This program will be at the Nature Cabin and will last about one hour. We encourage you to bring some of the following items so you can participate and clean these yourself while you learn more!

Suggested gear: phones/cameras, first aid kit, clothing layers, camp kitchen (dutch ovens, camp stove, camp cooking pots, etc.)
