Take a Child Outside Play Day

'Take a Child Outside' was founded to help children connect with nature. Bring your child and their friends to Cane Creek State Park to enjoy time outdoors playing games like hopscotch, red light/green light, and freeze tag. We plan on celebrating the opportunity for children to have free play outside with other fun like three-legged races, nature scavenger hunt, and hula hoops. Our focus is outdoor exploration, with the goal of increasing the number of children experiencing the natural world. Contact the park for more information.
