Shady Pond Fishing Derby

In partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Cane Creek State Park will open its stocked catfish pond to all angler kids and their families. Bring your finest fishing tackle and your best bait to try and get the heaviest stringer. You may keep your 3 biggest fish at the end of the derby! PRIZES will be given at 1:30 p.m. Must be present to win. Please sign up at the visitor center before the derby and follow the directions to our Shady Pond.
