Spring is nature’s grand awakening! As the days grow longer and the temperatures rise, the forests and meadows of Lake Catherine State Park burst into color with vibrant wildflowers and budding trees. Join a park interpreter on a guided walk to discover the seasonal blooms of the Ouachita Mountains. We’ll learn about the science of flower pigments, the role of pollinators, and the traditional uses of native plants. This moderate hike on the Falls Branch Trail is 2-miles long and will last about 1 hour.
