Scout Geology Merit Badge Workshop

Where better to learn about the world of geology than at Crater of Diamonds State Park? This one-day workshop is geared towards scouts who are seeking to gain their Geology Merit Badge following the Scouting America guidelines. Participants will receive a Crater of Diamonds State Park patch, materials for the workshop, and entrance to the diamond search area. Geology merit badge patches will need to be provided by the scout leader. Singular scouts or scout groups will be required to have at least one adult with them; adults will be admitted free but will need to stay with their scout(s) for the entire workshop. Registration will open August 1 and will close August 27, there is a deposit due at the time of sign up, the remaining fee will be due on the day of the workshop.
