Knots are one of the simplest things you can know for being prepared for the great outdoors in Arkansas. All people of Arkansas’ history have used ropes and knots in their everyday life from the earliest American Indians and early Europeans up to the modern day. Come join park staff and learn how to tie a variety of knots, how they would have been used, and how you can use them on your future explorations of Arkansas State Parks.
