Rock Whisperers Hike

Join a park interpreter for this guided hike along the Dam Mountain Trail that uncovers the hidden stories written in stone. Discover how ancient oceans, rising mountains, and the forces of erosion shaped the landscape of Lake Catherine State Park. This hands-on program is perfect for ages 10 and up and invites you to see the trail—and its rocks—in a whole new way. This program will last about 3 hours and will be 4.5 miles long. This is a difficult trail. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water. We will meet at the trailhead to begin this adventure.
