River of Change Kayak Tour

The Arkansas River witnessed Cherokees move into the river valley and their forced removal during the Trail of Tears. Join a park interpreter at the kayak launch for a paddle tour history of the area and how the ever-changing Arkansas River has played a role. Registration is required, sign up at the visitor center (479) 967-5516 at least one day in advance. Children under 6 not permitted. Please specify when you sign up if you want a tandem (2 person) or solo kayak.
