While it’s great to immerse yourself in all the trees of Mount Magazine State Park, it can be easy to forget one is on Arkansas’ tallest mountain. A hike down Dripping Springs trail serves as one spectacular reminder of where you stand, on a breathtakingly scenic mountain. Seasonally appropriate attire, drinking water, sturdy hiking shoes, insect repellent, and sunscreen are all highly recommended for this easy, 2.5-mile hike. Caution- this hiking trail visit very high cliffs with no railing, so children and pets must be highly supervised by legal guardians at all times.
