Nocturnal Navigators Night Hike

The forest comes alive at night! Join a park interpreter for a sensory night hike and discover how nocturnal animals like owls, bats, and foxes navigate in the dark. We’ll listen for animal calls, search for glowing spider eyes, and use special tools to communicate with nocturnal creatures. This is an easy, family-friendly hike, but be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a flashlight (red light recommended).This hike begins at the Slunger Creek Nature trailhead and will last about 45 minutes.
