National Trails Day: Battlefield Tour

Enjoy National Trails Day on a one-hour walk where lives were forever changed on December 7, 1862. We will "walk back in time" along the 1-mile trail loop. Enjoy the natural world around you and learn more about the history of the Civil War and the battle that took place here. National Trails Day is a day of public events aimed at advocacy and trail service. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather; wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring water. Meet at the trailhead next to the Latta Barn. #NationalTrailsDay
