National S'mores Day: Dutch Oven Cooking Workshop

Celebrate National S’mores Day with a gooey twist at Lake Chicot State Park! Join us around the campfire as we ditch the sticks and create a crowd-pleasing s’mores casserole—baked to perfection in a Dutch oven over open flames. This sweet program is part cooking class, part campfire hangout. You’ll learn the basics of Dutch oven cooking, help layer the delicious ingredients, and of course—get a warm, melty helping of our signature s’mores dessert when it's ready. Bring your appetite, curiosity, and a camp chair or blanket to relax by the fire. All ingredients and supplies are provided. Let’s celebrate this sticky, chocolatey holiday the best way we know how—together around the fire! Space is limited and registration is required by 5 p.m. on August 8th.
