Moonlit Mountain: Trail Through Time Hike

The roots of Queen Wilhelmina State Park’s history sink deep into the soil of Rich Mountain. Take an easy 1.5-mile hike on Lover’s Leap with a park interpreter and hear about the area’s history. Be sure to bring plenty of water to drink and dress for the weather. Note: This program is part of the Moonlit Mountain series, exploring life after sunset on Rich Mountain. While not required, daytime programs build knowledge that will enhance your experience at the nighttime program, so consider joining us throughout the day.
