Moonlit Mountain: Hike the Solar System

Embark on an exploration of our solar system without leaving Queen Wilhelmina State Park. We will start at the Sun, making pit stops at each planet! Using the Spring Trail and a little imagination, you will gain a greater understanding of our solar system while taking in the views offered by the surrounding Ouachita Mountains. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of drinking water for an easy one-mile hike along the Spring Trail. Note: This program is part of the Moonlit Mountain series, exploring life after sunset on Rich Mountain. While not required, daytime programs build knowledge that will enhance your experience at the nighttime program, so consider joining us throughout the day.
