Legends and Lore of the Ouachitas Hike

What secrets hide in the Ouachita Mountains? On this storytelling hike, we’ll explore local legends, from mysterious lights to tales of early settlers and native traditions. Whether you enjoy ghost stories or historical folklore, this program is sure to spark your imagination. This moderate hike includes some uneven terrain—bring water and wear sturdy shoes. We will hike the Falls Branch Trail loop that is 2 miles long. This program will last about 1.5 hours. Please bring a flashlight as the walk will last into the dark.
