KDLB 47th Annual Shoreline Cleanup

Keeping DeGray Lake Beautiful is a Coordinating Partner of the Great Arkansas Cleanup, which takes place annually September through October. The event is the "nation's largest community improvement effort" (Great Arkansas Cleanup). The Annual Shoreline Cleanup is a community and family event. Approximately 300 DeGray Lake enthusiasts remove three tons of trash from the shorelines, campgrounds, and recreation areas. A picnic style lunch is provided at the Highway 7 Recreation Area concluding trash pickup. There will be drawings for door prizes and "Litter Gitter" awards. Everyone is welcome - individuals, groups, and clubs. Check in begins at 8 a.m. at the DeGray Lake Spillway Ramp .
