Kayak Campout

Paddle your way into a unique overnight adventure on Lake Ouachita during this guided kayak campout experience. Participants will learn the basics of kayak camping, including how to pack gear efficiently, travel on the water safely, and practice Leave No Trace principles while exploring the lake. After paddling out together, the group will set up camp on one of the lake’s scenic islands and enjoy an evening surrounded by nature. This program is a great starting point for anyone interested in island camping but unsure how to begin, and participation is by reservation only.
