Do you know what a trilobite is? What about an ammonite? And what does it have to do with oil? Come to the museum and learn the answers to these questions as we learn why there is oil in south Arkansas. Explore local geology, as you enjoy a scavenger hunt in the museum's geology gallery. See and touch different fossils. Learn which one is important in the search for oil. This program is designed for children ages 6 years to 12 years, but all are welcome. Adults are required to remain with their child for the program. Please call Charles at (870) 725-2877 to reserve a place for your child in the program.
